or gather feedback from a specific group of users.
A Teacher can also upload a picture to include with in a discussion board.
Disussion boards are linear in nature,
student reponses fall in order of chronological order.
Students may refer to another student's response.
Currently, does not allow threaded discussions.

With homework hand-in assignments, Teachers can quickly and easily create
assignments by attaching a document and adding instructions for Students.
Once the Teacher activates the homework hand-in assignment,
Students can then download the assignment from Edline, and then resubmit
their completed homework to the Teacher.

You can create a group within each class, or a group that can be linked to
many classes. You may create a group (looks like a class page) for a unit or activity. This group can be re-used from year to year.

Student Submission Folders
Change a folders visible and permissions to allow students to add to the folder. This is similar to homework hand-in, but students can also be permitted to re-access documents.
Documents submitted in this manner can be made visible to other students - something that can't be accomplished with homework-handin.
These folders can also be made private for sharing of documents with a particular student or parent (done with IEPs for special educators)
